About Raffy’s On 36th
Raffy's on 36th took over the old Arthouse space on Hampden's Avenue after two neighborhood pizza spots closed within months of each other. We weren't about to let Hampden go without pizza — so we kept the wood-fired oven burning, built out a real bar program, and opened our doors in August 2025.
Raffy's is run by three partners — Jesse Vann, Christopher Paternotte, and Josh Mente — who wanted to build a place that's part neighborhood tavern, part pizza joint: somewhere you can grab a quick slice, settle in for a full dinner, or just pull up a stool at the bar.
